Dell has been getting a lot of awards for their equipment. They now have a 24” flat panel monitor for under $1000. Their 19” and 17” flat panels are also winning awards.

Costco currently has a  20.5” flat panel for under $500.

The extra screen space can really improve productivity. If big monitors are too pricey, consider dual 17” flat panels, with a dual monitor video card.

Foldershare is a tool to keep files on 2 or more computers synchronized. Files are saved on the internet server, then copied back to another pc.  It uses an SSL connection over the web.  Applications include inexpensive internet backup, file transfer to and from clients, and synchronizing home and work computers. https://www.foldershare.com

Microsoft is offering an online version of Microsoft office – Microsoft Office Live. It will include a domain, email, and web collaboration tools that integrate with office.
