If you are using Microsoft AntiSpyware, you will have gotten a notice that a new version is available. This will update you to Windows Defender. This is the same product, renamed in preparation for marketing it as a purchased product. Microsoft will start charging for it shortly. If you are using antispyware on individual computers, WebRoot Spysweeper has gotten the best reviews. For networks, we recommend Sunbelt Counterspy.  Antivirus vendors are bundling antispyware in their antivirus program as well.
