Windows Server service pack 2 appears as an optional install now, and will be offered automatically in June. Make sure your server is not set to install automatically.

Just a reminder to change your passwords every so often, particularly if an employee leaves. If your system allows remote access it becomes even more critical to have strong passwords and change them as needed.

 

Windows Software Update Services Ver. 3.0 is out. This is a significant upgrade. WSUS is intended for larger networks. It allows you to manage the windows critical update process yourself.
