More Daylight Savings time Patches. Remember, your computer needs to be updated to handle the DST change by March 11th. Windows updates will fix problems for XP, and 2003 Servers. Time clock/punch clock software, cell phones and PDA’s, PBX/Voicemail systems, and anything with a computerized clock will be affected. In most cases the time will just be off by an hour. On computer networks where the server is updated but not all workstations (or workstations and not the server), the time difference can cause workstations to be unable to log on.

If you bought a Windows PC anytime after Oct. 26, 2006, odds are it came with either a coupon for a free " Express Upgrade" to Vista, or instructions on how to obtain the upgrade via an online registration process. The free Vista upgrade program is scheduled to begin shutting down on March 15, 2007, and will close entirely on March 31. The site has been problematic, with many people unable to complete the registration process. www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/buyorupgrade/expressupgrade.mspx
